Our Story HealUs Zimbabwe was
founded in May 2022 by Columbus Tapiwa Mushore, driven
by a vision to improve the lives of individuals
affected by substance abuse in the Harare community.
Our co-founder, who is also our current chairman,
personally battled addiction and successfully
recovered through rehabilitation. This transformative
experience inspired a mission: to raise awareness,
reduce stigma, and provide essential resources for
those struggling with addiction.
Our Mission To combat drug abuse
and enhance the overall health and well-being of
individuals in Harare by providing awareness, support,
and access to rehabilitation services.
Our Vision A community where
every individual has the opportunity to recover from
substance abuse and live a healthy, fulfilling life.
Our Challenges Despite facing
obstacles, such as limited external funding and
registration hurdles, we remain steadfast in our
commitment to our cause. Our initiatives are funded
primarily through donations from our dedicated
members, and we are actively working to expand our
support and reach.
